Class Rings
The class ring brings back fond memories of your high school or college days. When you gaze upon it, all the fond memories of school – the parties, sporting events, relationships, and academic challenges come back to you. Many people find their school rings to be a source of pride for all they have accomplished.
First implemented by the West Point military cadets over 160 years ago, class rings are one of the most treasured possessions, symbolizing your achievements and advancement into professional life.
Class rings are available to high school students, college students, club members, the armed forces, and others. Although made for both men and women, class rings tend to be a popular piece of men’s jewelry and have not gained as much popularity with women.
Class rings usually showcase the school name and logo in a plastic or other die cast. The school mascot is also on the side along with the student’s name and year of graduation. The popular metals are gold, white gold, and sterling silver.
Many class rings include a stone such as a ruby or onyx as the centerpiece of the ring. Class rings that do not include a stone in the mounting usually have a flattened center engraved with an insignia or school symbol of importance.
